About Us

Tim Duffy, owner of Duffy's Auto Brokerage L.L.C., has been surrounded by and raised in the auto industry all his life. His father, Don Duffy, managed one of the most successful Honda Dealerships in the nation for 32 years. Known then as Riach Olds and Honda, now known as Honda of Seattle. As a youth Tim worked at Riach for many years.

After graduating from College with a degree in Sports Medicine, he married his wife Sally. Immediately following graduation Tim worked at two local auto dealerships in the greater Seattle area for 3 ½ years beginning in 1986. Tim and his father open their first pre-owned auto dealership in the Green Lake area in 1989. That grew to 3 dealerships in a short amount of time. Following this, they opened what was one of the first pre-owned super stores in the Seattle area that offered a much larger selection than the majority of their competitors. In 1994 they purchased a Pontiac-GMC new car franchise in Lynnwood, WA, known as Duffy Pontiac-GMC.

Shortly following this, they purchased a Nissan Franchise in Seattle, known as Duffy Nissan. 3 ½ years later these two dealerships were both sold and Tim licensed himself as an independent auto broker. Hence, Duffy's Auto Brokerage L.L.C. was born in February of 1998. Duffy's Auto Brokerage L.L.C. has developed into a highly successful business where the majority of business it now generates is repeat and referral. At last count, repeat and referrals make up 86% of the business. Tim is happily married to his wife Sally and has four successful children who are all married, and feel very lucky to have six grandchildren. During his 33 years of full time experience in the auto industry, Tim has seen and worked in virtually every aspect of the industry, at the dealership level. As part of his continuing education, Tim graduated from General Motors University of Auto Management. You can be assured you are dealing with someone who knows the industry and will assure you the top notch service that most think is long lost in the majority of the auto industry.
